This painting was one I almost kept for myself. It shares an image, a glimpse, just a peek at the site of one of my own spirit guides. A glimpse of the otherworld, I see more in abstract colors, shapes, and impressions that both resemble things that can be found on earth, and at the same time are like nothing we can truly see with our eyes.

While this painting is deeply personal, I feel like the small glimpses behind the veil are where we can truly be seen and felt, even through our vulnerability. Sometimes a painting is more than a painting. Sometimes, when an artist paints, what they're really sharing is a piece of their soul.

This painting brings new life to the pages of an old book and old paint. Upcycled, these make a unique, original painting, matted on black cardstock to fit a standard frame.
